Republicans,
We have witnessed the recent upheaval in the United States in
our recent past election with the Democratic Party becoming
the majority in our national government, as well as in our
state. It is interesting to read this address by the then
Governor Ronald Reagan, given to the Conservative Political Action
Conference in 1975. Governor Reagan expresses so well then,
what is so similarly happening now. His
insight is amazing and we need to heed his counsel and optimism on
going forward.
It is the time to buck up and go forward, focusing on the
Republican ideals we hold dear. I was very
proud of the time and effort displayed by our county Republicans in
this last election. Many people spent many hours working up
to the election over the past two years supporting candidates and
promoting "Republicanism". The central committee and I am
looking forward to working with all of you to promote Republican values in the future.
